[Key] Steam Trackmania 2

Hi

I hope this is the first time that this topic is mentioned, if not, I apologise for the spam but me and some friends that bought the game through steam have been having some Key issues.

We bought the game from Steam Store, but till today, no key or validation key was sent to us. Neither by email or even on steam library by clicking on game with the right mouse!
If I want to use my Planets for something I will ask me for the key/validation key and I got neither.

I don't know if that its the normal stuff, because since the game its "beta" we might just get the key later on or if there is a problem with us or with everyone that buys the game from steam.


Note: This is the only game I own from Maniaplanet appart from united (that has nothing to do with it)

check on http://player.maniaplanet.com if you have any keys associated (search in menus)...

or, run regedit and in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\TestApp228760 or smth like that search for SteamKey.

Nothing appears on the menu and about the other stuff I really don't know how to use it x)

Third party games purchased via Steam

CD Keys are issued with many third party games. In many cases, Steam will display your CD Key when you first launch your game. If your game launches and asks for a CD Key you do not have, please try the following:

1- Right-click on the game in the Library tab and select View Game CD Key. This option is not available for all Steam games and a CD Key is not required for all games.

Exit Steam.
Go to the "Start" menu, select "Run", type "regedit" and click "OK".
Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VALVE
Right click and select "Permissions"
Check the boxes for "Admin" and "System" to "Full control" and "Read".
Restart Steam and then verify your GCF files again.

Thank you for this information. I was able to pull both keys for Stadium and Canyons from the registry and then log into my maniaplanet account and get the verification code.

I believe it is as below but it could be just the opposite. Either way it worked.
Stadium is - TestApp228760
Canyons is - TestApp232910
