TmUF Stadium car in Stadium2?

Post by dejamo42 »

I have a car (standard Stadium car with custom paint job and some slight modifications) that I used for years in TmUF.
Searched the forums for ideas and tried a few things but can't get it to show when I try to change my car in Stadium2, not even sure if this can be done as yet, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have pruchased Stadium, or are you running just the free open beta?
Custom cars might be available only with the purchased game, after its released.

This worked for me , payed vers. Download this from maniaprk :

http://www.maniapark.com/ressource.php?id=1309

Take YOURE OWN car and unzip it somewhere.
Take diffuse.dds (own car ) and put it in downloaded car. ( overwrite )

Save the zip to :

( this is my path : ) C:\Users\my.acc.name.\Documents\ManiaPlanet\Skins\Models\StadiumCar

No problem m8 :D

btw they changed some stuff about the car.
like in the old car you had details.dds , the car parts in that file are now in more files , like details.dds and pilot.dds

well , have fun.
