Planets/Skins in Beta

Hey,

i purchased shootmania via steam and i can't change my skin colours etc in shootmania.
Also i can't do anything with my Planets. Is that why it's still beta?

Hi,

SKINCOLOURS :

1.
Go onto a server. Pause the game ( esc ), advanced options , interface settings.
Here u can change colors of crosshairs + the enemies skins + alley skins.

2.
If you really want a custom skin then go the the manialinkbrowser and enter : 'playerskins' ( = manialink )
U will be redirected and will see a bunch of skins. These skins cost maniaplanets.
If you want to 'buy' these skins you will have to enter your validation code ( this can be found in your email ) and then it will start downloading.

3.
Also you can google for custom skins, download them to Documents>Maniaplanet>Skins>Models
Dont unzip them.

**There also is a setting that disables custom skins. So you want see other custom skins. Make sure this setting is OFF.


PLANETS

-You can create an official team on the maniaplanet website = 10K planets
-Buy extra friendsslots ( when u want more than 50friends) = 150planets
-Extra skins as I said above
-Donate planets to servers ( I dont know why )

Thats all I know.
There arent much interesting manialinks atm for Shootmania. Maybe there are, but I cant find them.

Make it easier to buy stuff, how to use planets and where u can spend them.
Im a gamer for 15years, I game everyday , I know computers and games, and still its véry hard
to figure out how things work.
--> A simple MANIASHOP button in the GUI somewhere with an overview of best manialinks. BAM 10000000$ idea right here.
The gameplay is AWESOME. The GUI and usability can really use an update.
