Official race with keyboard bug?

I have mostly played with a gamepad. When it's time for official race the car starts just like in an ordinary race. But yesterday I tried playing with keyboard instead. Then, in Stadium, before the official races the camera moves to the place the car were before the race. I find this very unnessecary and sometimes it looks just weird. Also in Canyon there is some camera moves that makes no sense before official races.

Camera moves are either automatical if there was no MediaTracker intro/outro made, or intended by the mappers if they provide.

The camera movement is totally independent of the input type.

You can press Enter to abort the intros, but I remember some servers ask not to do so (most probably to show you their ads ).

So what does it have to do with the topic title? Where is the bug?

It's about the ordninary tracks A01, A02 etc where you every 5:th minute get a chance to run an official race and upload your time. When running with keyboard instead of gamepad there is an intro shown before the official race. If you try it yourself you see that it's an obvious bug. For example lets say you make a nonofficial race and give up somewhere in the middle of the track, then press delete to make a new trial. If it's then time for an official race, the camera zooms into the cars position were it were before you pressed delete. It looks plain wrong. Let's say the car is upside down. It's an obvious bug. Anything like that never happens when you play with the gamepad.

I never play with gamepad, but I was not able to observe this misbehavior you mentionned with Canyon or Stadium until now
