error 12029--cannot create account

Hi,

it seems that network packets sent by the game are not routed to our subscription server mp05.maniaplanet.com.
So you are unable to create an account and play the game.
The two 'tracert' command indicate that network packets do not reach the network of your ISP (cox.net I presume) when the destination is mp05.maniaplanet.com.

Normally, packets are transmitted to your modem/routeur/gateway (192.168.1.1), then to 10.165.0.1 and reach the network of your ISP (68.6.*.*).
After that packets are transmitted to our server.
It's what happens when you execute the command 'tracert mp01.maniaplanet.com'.

But I don't know why, when the destination of the network packets is mp05.maniaplanet.com, packets are just transmitted to your modem/routeur/gateway (192.168.1.1), then are blocked.
They are not transmitted to 10.165.0.1, as we can see on the 'tracert mp05.maniaplanet.com' log.
So it seems it must be due to the config of your modem/routeur/gateway, or another network config (maybe you are on a network of an university or an enterprise), or your ISP that blocks packet to our server.

I hope these will help you to resolve this issue.

since i cannot get this game to work at all i would like to know if i can get a refund.

again i play trackmania forever, and it works just fine. i dont know what the problem is. i have tried everything. if my isp is at fault then i dont think there is much i can do.

please let me know how i can get a refund for $19.99 as this is what i paid. i appreciate your help but in the end i cant play the game i purchased.
