driver view

My driver view changed to in car view a few days ago and no matter what I try i cannot get it to go back to behind car view . I cannot push view button 4 times before every race . I have tried tab right click and still nothing !!! please help

Try 1, 2, or 3 on the numeric keypad while racing. This usually changes between the different cameras.

i can change between the cameras but it defaults to in car when race restarts

Have had that issue in the past a few times.
I could not find a fix for it.
But it changed back sometime later by itself.

It already happened under TMU also.

So can not give an instant solution. Sorry.

But for me it solved more or less the way it came.

Hmm, have you by chance been playing splitscreen?

I found a very old topic about it from 2011, and split screen was blamed for this issue.

I haven't heard of many people having this problem though.
Check your bindings. Make sure the camera change isn't bound to any of the same keys you use for driving or other things.

You can check bindings in-game from your Profile.

no split screen . No bindings are the same either , I think it started on a server i was playing and a track kept changing my view at the start of the track and it did not happen on the other peoples screen i was playing with . weird shit
