Re: Map generator!
+1 to that idea...I was never good at the terraforming part of the trackbuilder anyhow, but if you make a terrain -for- me, I could design a track from that no sweat.

WIP
Re: Map generator!
well that is already done in TMUF just click on the simple editor button instead of the advanced.

Re: Map generator!
No, that's not right banjee. The simple Editor uses always the same map. It is saved under:
\TmUnitedForever\GameData\Tracks\Campaigns\BaseEditorSimple\Bases
There you have all 7 bases for the simple editor. So i has nothing to do with random

Re: Map generator!
I would really LOVE a terrain generator because on some environments I seriously have problems building terrain and nice sceneries. *do support*
Re: Map generator!
As long as the map-maker can still create his own scenery, why not?
Anyway, i believe the projet is significantly advanced yet, maybe Nadeo will not implement the new submissions and/or be more selective.

Re: Map generator!
I wasn't saying it did had anything to do with randomness but it is premade terrain which is what all you guys were asking for. right?haenry wrote:No, that's not right banjee. The simple Editor uses always the same map. It is saved under:

Re: Map generator!
well you could just download random tracks off tmx without editor passwords and open them in the editor then press backspace and all you will be left with is the terrain. is that good enough?
