missing script?

Post by silentcid »

I can't seem to have a game mode to show up on my server. I have everything setup including a Royal match settings by copying melee matchsettings. When I run that it turns on the game mode to Melee instead. I have the title SMRoyal@nadeolabs which I am confused on what that even does. I don't even have the royal script and does one need it?

The "title" sets which Title pack to run the game on... scripts are run using the Script game mode inside the Storm title. If you want to host a Royal server on the Royal pack, then you use "SMRoyal@nadeolabs" like you did. The concern is, are you setting that on the command-line or the config file?

And will you show us both your command-line and the config and matchsettings files (sensitive information omitted or redacted) so we can try to help you troubleshoot what is wrong?

(hijacking this thread)

Let's say I'm able to start up the server, and connect to it (via LAN). How would you set up the gamemode to Royal? I can't seem to find any map, any matchsettings files, or anything related to Royal. Tho I'm able to create one in game. Have any suggestions? Thanks!

the game mode script is included in the title pack, so you won't see it as a file in any of your folders

if you have troubles setting up a server i would suggest posting the content of your match settings file (which isn't needed for matches created ingame)
