Need help of the planet ^^

Hello again,

I got the idea when I see the impressive recent videos of Canyon on TM-Tube. Like this one, this one, this one or this one or there etc. I know there are so many good that it is too difficult to name them all!

So! I just wanted to know if somes would like to help me. I have a presentation to make to key people from around the world of Ubisoft, about the creation by players and competitive gaming. You know: UGC & eSport keywords ^_^

If some would like to help, I would really like to display some little short and impacting movies between 5 and 15 seconds about one of the two subject that explains why it is good for multiplayer games to have that. Texts must be in english and there is no trouble with copyrighted materials, pictures from other games or whatever since it is for internal use. In order to make it capable to be combined, I suggest to make it as a continuation one of these two sentences:
"UGC it part of the future of multiplayer games, because..."
"eSport is part of the future of multiplayer games, because..."

The goal is to have short messages in the compilation, but you can do one for each topic, or even two for the same.

Good thing that they are short since I am a little in hurry and would need them during next week end :/ I am really doing too much things atm.

And if you want to say something to these people (think that you would speak to the whole Ubisoft here) during some seconds in your videos, do it I will display more or less of them depending on the number and maybe the quality. Lolcats vids with subtitles are under the bar

And if there is not enough time or the topic is boring, do not help just to save me, I would take cool videos arlready made by players and will organize something about it. But some of you are so creative sometimes, that it could be cool, and that's why I ask.

Tell me if you are instered!

I really can't understand that much, it's like for example, a video showing Canyon and Stadium gameplay with a text on the middle saying "UGC/eSport is part of the future of multiplayer games, because *something*"?

I am "undeployed" (no current projects until tm2s release ^^ ) so I could take a look at it, but im not 100% sure what you really want.
I understand the part that you want to show Ubisoft some of the UGC from Maniaplanet. Copyrights doesnt matter.

I am just hoping to explain why eSport and UGC are good things for multiplayer game. So, if you write "because a game with UGC is alive everyday" or "because going crazy for real belongs to players ^_^" or "because internet made by one studio would be more limited" or I really don't know. It could be totally different.

It is just an open idea. It is either the message, either the picture. I mean, just making it is an expression of the interest of creativity let to players. Maybe it could be your best 10 secondes of video you saw from the community (if it is meaning full) saying 'because I saw that"

I think that the ability to express it to Ubisoft, why making UGC or eSport can be positive, is the good part of it.

But maybe it will not work, it is just an idea. How players would comunicate visually with publisher is kind of something unusual. And if you have previous samples or ideas, it is really open.

I just made an edit to explain that it could even be a picture that I put for 3 to 5 seconds. The goal is to express yourselves about UGC and eSport.

I'm unable to visualize this,
but you still shooted a vibrant metaphore of the player's excitation to gather a meeeting:
the shooters that drop from the highs and ground into the "cavern":
those are the seconds preceeding the descent on the arena,
a "real" vertigo EACH PLAYER feel, i bet.
Descent is an e-motion (wow, this is deep!)
while the cavern is The Place where all cool people gather to challenge each other.
Or better, you can use The Stadium, another maybe stronger metaphore...

amidst crazy driver drifting... canyon and stadium and Valley Cars...
This is visual synthesis, yes!

I think you should start to use the Teleport Metaphore for all of your variety of titles,
and maybe for e-sports too.
You, differently from others publisher, really have a "Teleport" potentiality betw titles (actually, it is disconnected, and is called ManiaPlanet Main Panel)
This will click with e-sports when The Stadium is open for challenges, and the players and the public gather THERE.
Where there is a "where", there must be a Teleport, in modern times, i guess.

Please make it 5 minutes and also add Storm and Stadium.

The mod change was great, you should have done the same with the skins and the map: show increasing map with the rhythm of the music (and not live editing)
