Why was I banned?[fixed]

Some spammer spammed something about solidwoodkitchens.
I replied with the spammers 'whois' details and was permanently banned.
Is this how the moderators treat genuine users?

it should be common sense that you mustn't publish personal information. we just remove spam, whois information from spam websites aren't needed in this forum. Also, you aren't banned, otherwise you couldn't have opened this thread.

Sorry, I didn't realise that whois information for spammers wasn't allowed.
I was permanently banned without a warning and had to create a new account. Same username with a 2 on the end. Can you look into reinstating my original account?

Sorry for the ban, it was my fault. your account is now unban.
I just saw an answer and though it was spamm too. Next time just report the post. You can give the whois details in the report. Like this you will avoid ban
