RPG games are all about the cut scene. a cut-scene camera option would bring about MovieMania cut-scene maker.
don't limit the storyline just to add more leveling. Let the community be able to create their own stories.

I do not play RPG games normally, but I will try QuestMania as soon as I can. It sounds really nice to me

I think, a rpg in trackmaniastyle can really be fun. particularly with custom online-servers and many editing-options

Re: How could QuestMania Work?
I got a litte idea about this.
Maybe all players start on a map and have to fullfill a quest. (e.g. Search X, bring it to Y and kill Z). You got hinds all over the map and the player which finishes first, wins. Of course are X,Z multiple times in the map (maybe different places for all player but same way distance). After a restart of the map, the quest changes, or the players got the same quest, but with different coordinates for X,Y and Z.

Re: How could QuestMania Work?
an idea on how multi-quest could work
1.single map with side quests and stuff to do.
2.second map with more storyline
Link maps 1 and 2 (maybe a load screen). call it a quest with X number of maps. Like the first Zelda (the top down version).
maybe add caves inside map 1 that load map 3 (a cave map).
This way a huge world might be able to be made... one map at a time.
