I had exactly the same thing last night - never happened to me before so it took a while for me to solve it. I went into Profile --> Inputs, hit the Default button anyway. Then I went into General inputs & selected the Space bar for chat, Enter for respawn (of course I'm so good I never need that.... ;) ) and 'o' for Show/Hide opponents. That fixed it for me. :thumbsup:
Funny thing though, as I came back into my profile page, I saw a tiny blue gremlin jumping out of the scene from the top-right corner. As I said, this has never happened to me before...
