This is a beta, get used to the fact that things will change and that they don't always change the way you like it.

(And it has always been the goal to have the same gameplay on Stadium as on Nations, so you could've known that they would change this.)

they'll still lose quite many players just because of this small thing. so I guess empty is right, this is BS.

Thing it, it wouldn't hurt anybody to keep both camera's.

The only thing that comes to my mind is the technical limitation of the current (horrible?) coded camera switcher/whatever. Some hardcoded limit of 3 or so.

And somehow, yea, even if I place it a big further, still feels strange. And there are places where I shouldn't place it that far.
But to your post Ganja, there can be seen that the timer was removed, so some human being must have been there :D
What timer? But I believe you. Then the person who made this was not paying attention to loop exits while making this cam2. :teub: :)

JumperJack wrote:oh now i get it, thanks ganja! it took a while but i understand now. that seems to be purely a bug with the new cam2 indeed. when we get the old cam back that'll be fixed, i'm sure (i usually place the empty trigger one block further, might be why i didn't notice the tilting).
also ganja, the "oops" part hylis posted, is about the fact that he wrote the cam2 change in the fixlist of the shootmania update, and not the trackmania update. we'll probably get the real change with the trackmania update.
No problem jack, glad I made you see. Btw the tilting is worse at high speed so fast full speed tracks have the biggest problems. But yeah lets wait until the next update.

Im not sure if the oops was about posting in the sm update list. Hylis says "Camera 2 for Stadium is as in Nations (oups, trouble with that cause at export)" Cause could be a typo for Caused. But we'll never really know with hylis' english. ;)

As far as I know, there was up to 6 race cameras in TrackMania Original… so it should be possible.

What attitude? I'm just confused that's all. Why remove the camera after a month when thousands of players have gotten used to it? If this was the plan all along then why did you add it in the first place? Seems rather useless to me to just completely erase it from the game instead of adding it as a cam 4 or whatever.

The camera should not be in that angle in any case, no matter how the track is built. I'm sure a fix can be made for this on Nadeos side.

The best to do was to keep the new good cam2, fix the bug on switching from other camera and add the old one as a cam4 = Everybody happy.

But instead the new cam2 was removed, the bug was kept and no sign of a cam4.

Congratulations ! :0010
