To which server exactly your game tries to connect?

Did you really ping all mp servers? they are 8 actually... mp01 to mp08.
There are a few issues with mp05 and mp06 (the servers are working fine, but some internet connections block them).

Can you ping www.maniaplanet.com and player.maniaplanet.com as well?
Can you connect to your player page? http://player.maniaplanet.com ?

The message 12002 usually is there when the connection was interrupted.
12029 is there when the server is not reachable (timeout at connection attempt).

Make sure Steam is online (it will ask anyways) and not downloading anything (updates) at the same time.

Shut down any other application that uses network (chat programs, download tools, local webserver applications like XAMPP etc.), wait 5 minutes (because of all connection timeouts), and try again.

Try to ping the following in the command line (WIN+R -> cmd -> run):

Code: Select all

ping mp01.maniaplanet.com
.. till ..
ping mp08.maniaplanet.com
Now please give the results of the above commands here.
I need to know the adresses your system thinks to connect to...

ok, at least this looks good, thanks. below are my results for comparison.

This means either your router or internet connection box, or the firewall on your PC is blocking ManiaPlanet.
Please check the Windows firewall settings (if you did not disable it completely because of another firewall tool).
Did you also disable Windows Defender?

Code: Select all

Ping www.maniaplanet.com [178.33.248.129]:
178.33.248.129: Bytes=32 Zeit=35ms TTL=56

Ping mp01.maniaplanet.com [178.33.248.151]:
178.33.248.151: Bytes=32 Zeit=32ms TTL=55

Ping mp02.maniaplanet.com [178.33.248.149]:
178.33.248.149: Bytes=32 Zeit=32ms TTL=55

Ping mp03.maniaplanet.com [178.33.248.239]:
178.33.248.239: Bytes=32 Zeit=32ms TTL=55

Ping mp04.maniaplanet.com [178.33.248.16]:
178.33.248.16: Bytes=32 Zeit=31ms TTL=55

Ping mp05.maniaplanet.com [5.135.65.155]:

Ping mp06.maniaplanet.com [5.135.65.156]:

Ping mp07.maniaplanet.com [46.105.188.92]:

grrrrr  the error  :teub:

sorry

Would you be able to download and install the dedicated server locally to see if this is working at least (internal local network connection)?

I just have tried it, the configuration is easy since default is provided along with maps for SM and tracks for TM².
