Help with setting it up

Hi,

It is the first plugin I'm trying to install on my ShootMania server. I configured everything like it says on the website

STEP 1:
open configs/config.xml and enter the SuperAdmin Password and the XML Port.

STEP 2:
open configs/localdatabase.xml and enter the mysql connection informations.

STEP 3:
copy update/Scripts into your UserData Directory.

Now, what do I do with the other files? With all these, pretty much:


I know it's a really basic question but I don't know what to do hehe.

those most probably go to the root folder of your dedicated server, where e.g. the server executable ManiaPlanetServer is located
However in the XASECO2 guide it is recommended to have them in a subfolder of your dedicated server, e.g. xaseco2.

so if your dedi is here:
/ManiaPlanetDedicatedServer/ManiaPlanetServer (executable)
you could put the files there:
/ManiaPlanetDedicatedServer/MPAseco/

I have a paid one from a certain company. I have access to the FTP where all my server files are. So I simply create it anywhere? How will it run? :/ I don't understand.. lol

Do you know any north america providers who will offer these? I curreny have a multiplay and a gameservers.com :/

sorry, I don't, you might want to look at the details of some typical providers.
Or look if you can see advertisement on US servers, where they are located.
