webas wrote:i dont want to switch games..
You're not. It's all in ManiaPlanet.
webas wrote:i dont even know how to install it.
You will.
webas wrote:I have to learn how to install
Download the title pack. There's two ways to do it.
1. Get the pack from
http://stunters.org/
Move the *.pack.gbx to Documents\ManiaPlanet\Packs
Restart game.
Select an empty station and load Stunters into it.
2. Get the pack from the manialink:
Stunters ingame.
It will download to the right place automatically.
Leave the Stunters manialink, either by hitting ESC or by click the up arrow at the top left.
Select an empty station from the ManiaPlanet menu and load the Stunters title pack into it.
webas wrote:then to learn how to update
Updating is sometimes done in-game.
If not, repeat the above steps and overwrite the original pack.gbx file.
webas wrote:and then to constantly switch between stadium and other games..
The switching is really no harder than switching servers. When you want to play something else, naturally there is going to be a switch of some kind involved. Often, you can jump to a server in another title right from your buddy list if one of you buddies is playing there. It's even easier than switching servers in TrackMania Nations Forever.
webas wrote:just because i played stadium 1 alot, and stadium2 very often doesnt make me a hardcore gamer!
You're apparently not a hardcore TrackMania player either, or you wouldn't use the wrong terminology to refer to Stadium. There was no Stadium 1. There was TrackMania Nations ESWC (which was the first Stadium), TrackMania United (which included the second Stadium), TrackMania United Forever and TrackMania Nations Forever (which together included the third Stadium), and now TrackMania² Stadium (which is the fourth Stadium).
Actually, a lot of people refer to Stadium incorrectly these days, and it makes me go a little insane every time I read it.

So at least you're not the only one. You're just perpetuating it.
But that's beside the point. Your point was that you are not a hardcore gamer. I think what we're discussing here has less to do with being a hardcore gamer, and simply not having any desire to do anything that requires some kind of effort as a PC user. I venture to guess you don't organize the files on your computer either.
webas wrote:I dont even visit these forums often
You should visit more often.

Some great discussions, and you can learn so much about the community and about the game.
webas wrote:just when my patience get used by indoor lightning which makes game unplayable, and inability to drive backwards which makes me restart a lot of races..
These are separate issues indeed.
Bad lighting indoors is the fault of track makers providing inadequate lighting in their tracks or the fault of server owners importing old tracks that were not designed for this version of Stadium.
Inability to drive backwards is an odd issue. I've not experienced it. It's probably some issue with your keybindings or a conflict with your input devices. Please create a separate topic about it.
