TMNF was done to attract more people to TM, yes, but it also had the drawback that people start to think they can get everything for free, which is simply not possible.

I just logged into Canyon and there were just about 7-8 servers with players. Thats not much.

There are more, always make sure you look at the "World Zone". You have to look again later in the afternoon or in the evening (European time).

Well, they need the open source community to survive..
If nadeo didn't have such a strong community due to the free tmn eswc and later the tmnf stadium, they would've been swallowed fully by ubisoft and we'd now be playing Rayman's rabid racer and Rainbow Six Sandbox on console.

yes, it is all on a give-and-take basis, and it should be fair and reasonable.
Nadeo has to give something where we can work with, and in return we have to help by creating contents etc.

The fact they already put the full version of tm2 stadium for 50% of the saleprice of other maniaplanet titles in my opinion is enough to get the diehards to do their part again.
However, a stripped free to play version would be welcome as that would mean there's a bigger market for the maps by people who haven't already created a fanbase or a circle of followers..

I know for a fact the game is good and i'll be playing it and all other official maniaplanet environments/games for the upcoming 3 years for sure..
(if 2d triangles get xyz coordinate settings by keyboard input like in older versions, else i'm forced to use tmnf for that part)

You should be happy with having something for free at all. *(gonna sound old now) Fifteen years ago we were happy if a game released a demo we could play for 3 minutes. (if we could play it at all)

cam2 shall be changed in next update

i can't tell when will be the last changes or if we do them, sorry. I know it is not ideal, but even if we had decided to change something, maybe the priority would change after other things arriving etc.

Why don't you support Nadeo with some money for like the best game ever? I don't mind paying as long as TM stays great. And TM2 Stadium won't be the same as TMNF in the end, check the changelog and plans from Nadeo. Can't be all for free.

Actually you're wrong here too. TM2 Stadium free2play version WILL be the same as TMNF in the end, TM2 stadium paid version will have all new features.

I don't keep up to date with all the news surrounding this game. I bought this game on steam it said a April 2013 release date. Is the game not fully released yet? Iv'e got gold medals for all the white courses and was hoping to move on to green...no luck tho.
