Reaction to new RoC maps.

Hello ladder moderators.

There has been an update on the RoC mappool which is nice but I have some doubts on the map rejection.

What I want to say is that there was a RoC server in which +80% of the tracks are now rejected from the RoC mappool. Casually most of the rejected maps that were on this server are also from the same mapper and it gives place to have some dark thoughts on the mappool purging (at least for me )
There are 5 servers... and an entire mappack that was each week played by most of the top 20 has been deleted.

Looks a bit strange purging... dunno... just saying

EDIT: Casually This weekend there has been an unstable roc with maps noone wanted to play (eventhough validated) and prefered to play all of the, now, deleted maps

Which mapprr are you talking about?

A bit more details might be handy.

We chose these maps as roc maps as they are good competition maps. Not nadeo b/c/d maps. Its the same for doing stuntmaps on a timeattack map.

Falchi_davide maps... They were validated and now suddently none of those are valid anymore...

The mappack was sent to you (moderators) 3 months ago and it was accepted. Now, according to the new moderation team, an entire mappack is not valid anymore?

I want to make clear that the mappack wasn't send to us, but to Cerovan instead, who had less restrictions on the maps. We think that to have a solid competition that we should have such maps that are of such level that they are real competition maps and not maps that are of the same level as Nadeo B/C/D.

So, under this criteria (you want tech maps) the rejected maps have been rejected?

Let's make some things clear..

We control now the maps for every server, more in detail than in the past.
& Falchi (and some others) his maps are just not suitable for RoC at all,
like said before they're are looking like nadeo maps. Also unskilled.
No offense to this, it can be really fun to drive these maps, but not on RoC level.
We want to make a bit competition of RoC with skilled maps etc..
We'll also take care that there won't be issues anymore in next RoCs!
Although, he can make new maps for sure and we will be ready to test them!
To make clear, this last week, all can hold the maps.. these new things are going through from next rotation.

I hope you understand it and we wish the upcoming rotation a lot of fun with hosting!

To my mind, with this techy style selection to make it competitive you are making the competition to get smaller...
RoC is intended to be fun and competitive... There should be a bit of everything... Most of the players (MOST of them) don't like to play on "hard" tracks and finish and have more fun on normal ones.

Well, not everyone that play ROC have got the skill you want they to have, and you don't have why to delete maps for these less skilled players. By the way, this kind of maps are used on 2/¿8? ROC servers, isnt it enough ¿6? or more servers for more skilled players? I consider yes.

In addiction to that, is isn't smart to do ROC for more skilled players, because the more skilled players don't play roc, they play leagues.

The Montecarlo GP is not-conform with actual F1 cars, but its the most important race of entire F1 season.
My tracks (simple, easy, noob... etc etc) are played on roc since Trackmania Nations Forever... years ago !
Mr.Laurens can explain because now my tracks are.... ''not sufficient roc level'' ?
