Which other applications are you running?
Are you running a local webserver on your machine, like XAMPP?

Is someone else running any ManiaPlanet game in your local network?

Please check again the settings of your Windows Firewall, and if you have, Windows Defender.

I still don't have an idea what could go wrong here.
Something with the connection, this is clear. But where?

Could you please give more details about your provider, your internet access, your network setup?

F-Secure is a total b*tch with applications that requires an internet connection (been there, done that). Maybe you could try to remove it temporary and then try to launch Shootmania again?

yeah, if you have a free version of F-Secure, you might want to try another one.

If your Cisco router has a firewall, you might uninstall F-Secure firewall and use only the Windows Firewall, it helped here [Maniaplanet + Tmuf] Couldn't init the network

When people refer/ask for your ping, it usually means the ping between your computer and a server (in this case, the masterserver mp01.maniaplanet.com). When going on such a website, the results are the ping between Whoisxy.com's server and mp01.maniaplanet.com. So it does not gives much useful information.

If you want to test the ping between your computer and a server, start a DOS shell (located in Start Menu > Accessories). At the prompt, type "ping mp01.maniaplanet.com" (without the double quotes).

Also, relevant to this thread : to test wininet issues, I've made a tool a while back. It's still available here. The info displayed can help debugging.
