Do you use some free dynamic DNS? You might check this...

Or there was a update somewher, and either your router / internet modem is blocking the ports, or is not relaying them to the actual servers, or some updates on the servers caused it.

Is this on a local machine? Can you connect in lan mode? Have you checked the server log file to confirm that it's connecting to MP properly? Have you set up your machine to use a static network IP address? Try checking that your ports are indeed open and forwarded properly: http://www.ipmango.com/network/port_forward

-I host my server on my pc.

-I can connect it in lan and my server has no error just says "warning u seem to be on a private network, unless you have configured your NAT, others players on internet will not be able to join in" but i did configure it ...

-Is my ip 192 ........? because this one isnt static (but till i made my adress ".10" at the end in port configuration it shouldnt annoy me i think =S), the one appearing with this http://www.myipaddress.com/show-my-ip-address/ is fix.

EDIT : -Even with firewall down my ports appears to be closed, where could it come from =/ ? i made rules in firewall, configured ports on my router & restarted both pc & router, checked it again since i did it.

RE EDIT : Are u nocturne from Let's Rock ? :p i think i was here when it did crash, it baned me and said "incoherence in time" LOL

Ya, it's me.. didn't even notice your name, lol

The NAT message.. just ignore it. Unless you install the MS loopback adapter in your network card settings (which isn't needed anyways), that message will always show.

I imagine the problem you are having involves the DHCP pool on your router.. Each time a client (ie your pc) connects, the router will assign it a local ip address out of it's pool; and unless you set up a static ip for your client on either your router or PC, each time you reboot/reconnect you'll likely be assigned a different local ip.

The easiest way is by finding your way to your network adapter settings (network and sharing center > change adapter settings). Then right click the network adapter you use, select status, and click the details button; then jot down your IPv4 settings (address, subnet mask, gateway, and dns servers). Close the status window, then right click your adapter again and select properties. Double click 'Internet Protocol Settings Version 4', and then enter in all the addresses you just wrote down. Then go back to the port forwarding section in your router config and make sure the destination address matches the IP address you just set up, and reboot your router. Now every time you connect to your local network, you should be assigned the same local IP.

Then just boot up the dedicated server again, and check your ports with the tool I posted above.

As far as the boot 'n ban from Let'sRock!.. sorry bout that.. The time coherence checks can be a bit problematic at times, especially with multi-lap tracks. I'll clear out the ban list momentarily..

Edit: Rather.. server was running just fine.. Guess the lag timed out the connection to MP.. :roflol:

Well.. There shouldn't be any initial conflict.. that's why I told you to check what local ip you were already assigned. Try setting it to a higher number outside of your routers dhcp pool, ie: if your current local address is 192.168.1.32, add a hundred onto the last number to make it 192.168.1.132 . That way, should be outside the default range of addresses your router would assign to other machines.

Once you get your static local ip established, check that your net connection still works, change the port forwarding destination to the new local ip in your router settings, reboot the router, start the server, and check again.

Depending on your router, may also be able to set up a rule to always assign that local ip to your network adapters MAC address.

Edit: And here's the link to the guide I posted on the server last night: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/ ... _Static_IP

My problem is that the server ports 2350-2352 are now closed but the P2P ports 3450-3452 are still open. Any ideas?

Electron: how did you check?
use netstat -na to see all open ports on your PC, and a internet scanner website to see the open ports of your router.
Is perhaps a ghost instance of ManiaPlanet running in the background -> eliminate it with the Task manager.
Or you are using a tool that uses those ports at the moment.
Sometimes, when using excessive P2P, many ports are used, and this blocks other applications later.
stop all downloads, close all applications, wait ~2 minutes (default TCP/Ip socket timeout), and try again. Or reboot your PC.
