MatchMaking Lobbies feedbacks

Plugins are uptodate on the Drakonia Lobby. I have just tweak some settings but it can't be the problem.

We have just not the last version of the dedicated server, only the version of the 24/04.

I have restarted the ManiaLive Lobby but I can't check if it's good for the moment.


Else I would like see a modification to improve the matchmaking :

- A system to choose the map like Elite. For the moment I have change the value of Deciding to 60 seconds to have the time to vote, but it's not the best, just a bypass. It can be in the plugin or in the gamemode but it can be useful to have it in a plugin to have the same for all matchmaking (Elite, Combo, Joust, custom gamemode...).

Something needs to be done with the elite matchmaking system. The "set as ally" system is really bad and confusing, making sure everybody presses ready at the exact time is just asking for trouble. We need a system where you can choose which people you want to play with.

Example:



Be a group leader and choose your allies:



When everyone is ready, the leader can start searching for a match.

ps. and please nadeo, update your elite map-pool. If I have to play maps like windofchange one more time I dont know what I will do. I promise you that no one will be mad at you if you use a proper map-pack, its an easy fix that will make a lot of people happy .

I have a "You are being transfered, please wait" message that shows up each time I join the main lobby server... It's impossible to play with it on the lobby.

I just answer because I have this annoying message too :
yes this message is only on the elite matchmaking lobby it disappears when we go to an actual elite server, and then as soon as the match is over, it goes back.

edit : it's been 5/7 days.

edit2: imk, everyone is subject to this problem.

Its been like this for almost a week now for everyone I think, at least for all I have talked to. The "You are being transfered" are always showing and covering the screen. Ain't that bad though, there's more important things to fix on the MM Elite servers first. Maps and settings
