Saturday 4 may i have annotate the entire top100 ladder, at end of this rotation of ROC servers (end July) I want to compare and contrast the ladder's names.

How do you get more LP? Is it by playing against top LP players? Or if you play against less leveled players, but win all races you will get more LP?

I´m asking this because, at first, I thought it was better to choose competition style tech tracks. But after seeing how these guys, that play the ladder for so long, are feeling bad about not having the same freedom on map choosing, I´m not sure about it.

If you get more LP by playing with top LP players, then these players who wants ESWC maps, can play with each other on a server that has the map style they prefer, and as they are more "pro" players, they will level up faster, so other servers maps will not be a problem for them.

Canyon is a small community, and RoC players are even in a smaller number, so maybe it´s not the best way to limit the map choice like this. Maybe letting these guys have fun playing their maps is a better solution to this.

Just something to think about.

Unfortunally, the top 10 is not "pro" enough to accept the challenge to play on big competition tracks,
although I like your proposal So I just wish much fun to all RoC players! But the maps will be as competitive as possible!

but the fact is - players that plays big competition tracks are not interested in the ladder, just take yourself as an example, as you wrote about it in your other post.

so, I guess if top 10 ladder don´t care about playing big competition tracks, if the ladder does not mean anything for "pro" players, and map limitation makes RoC server onwners and players so frustated - this seems not a good direction to follow.

also, maybe it is better to try to find 8 or more "pro" players to play on a "big competition maps server" between them, than making other ladder players unhappy with these map choices.

of course "lol maps" would not be allowed, and 45s on gold time rule will stay, as well as no cuts. Only the "big competition tracks" rule should maybe be gone.

apart from this discussion I'd like to know what this ping-kings login server wil be. The "tp" login is still not conform to any server name .. edit: or vice versa. At least a good guess work is needed. So what? You discuss about maps and making ROC better. I think a good start would be to eliminate RoC servers which are not present at all and servers which have a different login.
