Yo yo yo,
Currently , ingame, you can choose between 3 predefined views.
1. hide everything except the crosshair while playing.
2. hide nametags.
3. the default view ( crosshair + chat + killfeed , etc etc )
Im not happy with these 3 views when playing. ( Some of these views could be nice for screenshots or creating videos or w/e , but im talking about when u play )
1 --> it hides everything. So you dont know when ur laser is reloaded. You dont know how many defenders are left etc etc
2. -->
3. --> The default view is good , but there is too much clutter.
My proposal :
Create a 4th view that hides everything except the most important things =
-Crosshair
-#Defenders left
-Health
-Bullets+reloaded or not?
-Stamina
-Nametags
--> No chat, no killfeed, no "your friend connected to the game", no names at the left/right on the top ur screen
This isnt important , but it would be nice to have. For me.
I'd like to play this so called esport game without things distracting me.
So whats ur opinion?
PS : is this something I could do myself? If so , pls point me in the right direction. It would be cool to create ur own GUI. Thx.

Re: Competitive view option ingame
I totaly agree with you. Most of time in attack I use the version with just crosshair to have less stuff on the screen. Your solution would be awesome
Re: Competitive view option ingame
To be fair, the screen as a player looks absolutely horrible and is something that needs some serious work. There's way too much double/triple-posting of information, useless information and stuff hogging up the screen.

And that looks more like a spectator-screen (which it is, lol) than a player screen.
1) I don't need team names with the players listed on left/Right side, I have that info on the scoreboard at my will
2) That thing dropping down from the top when scoreboard is checked, keep that for spectators only. As a player it's annoying & unnecessary to have it drop down.
3) Have chat fade away after 4-5 seconds of nothing being said (and make sure 'your friend has connected' isn't shown in chat to interfere with it). Seriously, this is something every other game does, and we can always press C to bring it up if we need to read something we missed.
4) Attacker armor is not something I've ever looked bottom right to check. 99% of the time I know how many armors the attacker has left, and 1% of the time I actually think he has 1 when he has 2, so the text bottom right doesn't really help me whatsoever. If anything, why not display that information on the scoreboard as well? My teammate didn't even know about it untill we pointed it out not long ago (Not sure if he was trolling or not, but this could very well be true, and he's been playing since last summer)
Atleast this is how I would choose to display the information, and it would just look so much cleaner for me as a player.

I personally don't have any problems with the in-game interface and i think everythings' fine as it is in that regard.
I understand that others may have different needs from mines, but i also think this should go at the bottom of the priority list for the game, if they even decide to do something about it.

And don't you mean: Can't disagree with sadzealot?
