eXpansion plugin pack for Manialive - (updated: 3.4.2014)

Sorry for late answer, the plugin pack is still in beta-phase and we are working quite much for bring the first release there, so currently there is only the version for developers available, and barely no instructions how to set it up.

You can download the latest version at github by clicking the .zip at top.

So how to set it up:
For the very first step you have to rename the "eXpansion-master" to "eXpansion"

I upgraded the Administators guide at our wiki, so check the wiki for example configuration file.

You might also want to install oliverde8 hudmenu and my dedimania plugin, for the dedimania plugin you have to also rename the folder from "Dedimania-master" to "Dedimania", see the github page for configuration options.

If you install menu and dedimania, be sure to load them before eXpansion plugins

There will be upgrades nearly every day to the current development version of the plugin pack. We have tested the plugin pack in production servers now for 2 months, it works pretty good and solid at the moment, but there are some optimizations yet to be done before we publish version 1.0, so remember this is still considered as a beta.

When we release, we will upgrade all administrative part of the exp wiki, so there should be better support for server admins than currently.

I'm too nnob for this.

Tried to load menu Oliverde , nothing works , the links to internet pages fail , I am admin but admin section is locked.

Menu has no entries.

I come back when there are more tutorials.

If you see it and nothing happens it means it is empty(There is no plugin that added commands in it), the internet page fail, I doupt it is your fault I will check that.
THe hudmenu supports standard plugins so you can install them, but you wan't have a lot of features so it might be best you stick to xaseco until we come with a full realese and installation guides

We are working on a release for 1 month now.

I can say a few thing, there will be some cool stuff, there won't be a lot of features but a lot of the essentials should be there. There won't be or nearly won't be mem leaks. Probably very little crash also for a first release(maybe even none). I have a server running it for nearly 2 weeks no stop.
But we need to get moving with all the documentation and that kind of stuff that needs to be there before the release. It is boring to do

Some news about the project:

Goodies:

• The plugin pack runs very good in general
• It is stable - we have ran it in the test period 2 weeks in row, with no crashes
• It rocks!

Something, we need to work before the first release:

• the cached local records rank calculation fails some times for random players, still we haven't found the reason (after 1.5 weeks search)
• server rank calculation needs to be rewritten, since it's way too slow! Starting the plugin pack may take up to 1-2 minutes due the server rank calculation, after that it runs very fast.
• setting up the plugin pack for first time is pain in the ****, it requires 30 lines of configuration...

To do for first release:

• Fix local records rank calculation
• Rewrite server ranks
• Write an auto loader for plugin pack, so everything can be load with a one-line configuration.
• Write localization to plugins for all languages we can speak
• Write documentation on how to setup and use

The main focus for this first release will be Trackmania-games, Storm support will follow.
