manialink stops working

Ok so I have an issue with my manialink where you after about 1hour after you started ManiaPlanet can't see the main area. Somewhere something happens. A session runs out or something.
How do I get around this?

Do I have to force a reauthentification via maniaconnect?

The Oauth2 token is valid for 1 hour, then you have to ask for a new token again.

What would be the best way of doing that?
