ok, custom data, what's the difference... see folder path next to it? go there, then packscache, and find whatever zip you needed.

ok, now I found the ShootMania.zip file.

Another questions arises:

In the ArenaDefaultSkin.zip file aren't the same files as described in the first post.
There are the files:
Body_D.dds
Body_E.dds
Body_M.dds
Body_N.dds
Body_S.dds
icon.dds
Player.Anim.gbx
Player_1.Solid2.gbx.

I thought that nadeo just changed the name of the diffuse.dds files and I have tried to open a file in Photoshop.. But photoshop cannot read any dds-file.
What is wrong?

Thanks for your help so far Omnixor

Do you have installed the DDS plugin?
nVidia has one for free: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-tex ... -photoshop
I could open all the files.

Now it's works fine! I can open all files now.

But for what is ''DXTBmp'' useful? It is mentioned in the first post of the topic
And is there any tutorial about creating Shootmania playerskins?
Because I don't want to spam this topic with every single detailed question

Thanks

All the best,

So as far as I know you can't change glow color atm (but im not really experienced in skin making so I might be wrong)

hope this helped a bit
Actually, before the update or the 13th, you could.

All the skins I made previously had also a custom energy glow color. Now, all the skins I make and also the old ones have a red energy glow color whatever I do. On my topic, TheXPlaying told me that his custom skins didn't suffer from that problem. He sent me a skin he made by MP, and still, I have the red color.

What's annoying is that I KNOW admind saw the posts, since I saw they were consulting the thread, but nobody, nor devs or admins dropped a line just to say something about that.

If that's a will from the devs to force the energy glow color, well, that sucks hard for the style of the skins...

This has been replied on the french forum, I repeat the informations here for other people.
The Energy is a gameplay element, it is the team color, not a fancy decoration. Energy Colors have been modified recently to work the same for players, weapons, poles and blocks and look better and less monochromatic.
Being able to change completely your character with the importer is a good feature, isn't it? Far more powerfull to change the style of a character than changing his energy color I think.
Custom characters don't support Self-illum yet (free color, different than team color). Only objects.
If you want your team to have a specific energy color, you still can use the team link feature.
