PF track is now DEAD - Thanks
Someone please let me know when the damn game is done with all the physics changes [drop zone at start line]. I don't like spending 3 months on a PF track to have you guys ruin it. I don't get it, why change it? You sure do know how to piss someone off.

Re: PF track is now DEAD - Thanks
why change it = to be compatible with TM Nations.
Re: PF track is now DEAD - Thanks
That's a real bummer.
It was doomed from the start though. You should never start projects like that during a beta. If you had asked someone, we would have told you the same happened during the Canyon beta.

I think you should think twice before posting things like this.
You know this is a beta.
You know they are continuously developing it and changing things.
Who's to blame? Take a look in the mirror.

happybrad, you sound like an unhappy brat... never start something in beta.

Sorry but people already did this on the tm2 canyon beta, and they were as pissed off as you and posted their anger on the forums... what do you want to reach with this thread?

Or... Start a huge track and try to use each and every option Nadeo promissed and see how many things don't work. Report them and wait patiently for them to get fixed. That's beta testing
Ok ok EDIT

Re: PF track is now DEAD - Thanks
No matter what should or shouldn't have been done, it does stink to have all that time (and PFs take a LOT of time) spent for nothing.. and to have it rendered useless by a simple change to the way the car starts. I suppose he just wanted to blow off some steam about it.
Well, ultimately only the developers know, and I doubt they even know 100%. But it should be fairly safe to start working on a PF after the game is released. The "release" will be well known. You'll read about it in the forums or on the maniaplanet blog, and probably also in-game. It should be quite soon I think, and maybe you can incorporate some of those new blocks into your next PF!
This shows me that you're not so upset that you'd quit over it, which is something I would have thought about doing if this had happened to me. But you just want to know when there will stop being changes.happybrad wrote:Someone please let me know when the damn game is done with all the physics changes [drop zone at start line].

Re: PF track is now DEAD - Thanks
Hey everyone - thanks for being such a great help with all your comments. eyebo - I appreciate your comments the most as you are the only one to use dignity. I will wait till the game is "Released" to start a new PF track . I don't know - it seems like I've had this game for about a year now, I just figured that it was released. There is no indication on the title page that it's in beta still. I would think that you would have that stamped somewhere, but I cannot find it.
I've never been in a game where it's in Beta before, so I guess I'll look in the mirror on that one. Sorry to be such a noob [do you geeks still use that word].
