[Stadium] 90% of the cars are grey / skinless

Let me start with congratulating you with making the most unclear forum in the history of men. I hope I'm in the right subforum.

For some reason people who should be using the default cars for their country, have grey cars instead.
People with custom cars work fine though.
Any way to fix this? I already cleaned my cache.

I'm using the latest version on Steam and I bought the game. I'm on Windows 7 with 955 and a HD6950

This issue is not new, in fact it depends on a lot of settings why the skins are gray.

Anything I can do to force the skins to load or something? Or do I have to wait for a bugfix on this?

As I wrote, it is not entirely about a bugfix.
It is a mix of network / firewall / game settings.

If the game cannot - or is not allowed to - detect which skin a player is using, it cannot display the appropriate skin.
Just ignore the skins competely and enjoy driving

People with custom skins want others to see them so they also check all necessary settings

I also find it's wrong that so many cars are grey. If someone have the paid version then I think they should see no grey cars, unless for those drivers that have choosen to use a gray skin.

If the game can't detect the skin, then I suggest that it displays the nation skin of that car. If in other environments, then just display a random skin. That's way better than just gray.

Yup, nation cars rarely ever show. People with a custom car/skin are much more common than nation cars.

that's actually true, I just realised I never see nation skins at all, since I use my own one... p2p is turned on, and everything works well in TMUF.
