Serious issue that makes my game unplayable

I have a serious problem, that maybe most players don't even notice or mind, but for me, this feature makes the game uncomfortable and unplayable.

Every time you get hit or you collect ammo from a pole (Joust), there's a short, two second flash, that explodes in your eyes. Now, some may say this isn't even worth mentioning, but for me, a guy with dry eyes that are sensitive to bright lights, is a punch in the face. It's like someone sticking a knife threw my eyeballs, every time I get hit or collect ammo. Why is this feature necessary? Most of all, why is it mandatory. Yeah, you would think most people wouldn't care about a light popping up in their eyes every time something happens, but for someone like me, it's hell. There's no way, that I know of, to disable these flashes. This feature is by far, the most annoying element in the game, besides the fact that there isn't a brightness slider in-game, thus your forced to make driver presets, like you're back in the mid 90's trying to configure Tomb Raider.

Does someone know how to block or remove this feature? I would probably play the game more than 45 minutes per day, before my eyes spontaneously start bleeding.

maybe there's a flash texture somewhere, replace it with transparent image

you can't change default game textures in maniaplanet like in TM1, they're protected.

I think this should be setting in the config, I'm sure Nadeo wouldn't mind adding this little feature for you or anyone else suffering from this problem

If you would remove such a texture from the game, everyone would need to change the texture for himself if he wants to stay competitive.
Maybe it could be done with a server-wide setting to be fair to everyone.

It's been a couple of weeks and I decided that bumping this subject won't be considered spam.

I'm sorry I'm still replying to this post I made, but I feel that I need to keep this subject on the front page. I really hope NADEO will eventually take a glimpse at my issue and maybe, in the near future, help me and others like me enjoy this game. I'm still waiting for an official reply or a hint that someone is taking this issue in consideration.

Well, I hope, one day, I will get back to ShootMania.
