I checked my RAM BIOS settings. Everything is set to AUTO which is where I am leaving them. I am not going to mess with my memory settings to try and get one game to work properly. This is getting to be a joke to try and get this game to work. I can't be the only one having this problem.
I personally think it's the video drivers. Since I put on these older drivers, the game doesn't have the problem AS BAD. It still has the problem, but it's not as extreme as it was when I had the newest drivers installed.
I am trying uninstalling & reinstalling the game to see if that helps. But other than this, I have no other ideas what could be causing this problem.

good point. let's continue watching this issue and let's hope it does not appear to often to you

Re: Getting bad polygons in game
So what am I supposed to do now? Just live with this? Do you think getting a new video card and/or new RAM would help?
Re: Getting bad polygons in game
If you run a longer benchmark for DirectX9, does it also appear there?
Or play ManiaPlanet until the issue appears, and then try another DirectX 9 application or game.

Direct X 9? I'm running Direct X 11. Isn't that the latest Direct X?

Re: Getting bad polygons in game
Ok so how do I run a benchmark for DX9?
Re: Getting bad polygons in game
Ok I ran both 3dMark & Uningine Heaven. Below are the results:

I actually did notice a few funky polygons in the 3dMark "Cloud Gate Graphics test 1". Inside the ship there were some spikes that didn't look like they belonged there. But no other strange polygons on any other test in either app.
Now what?

So any other suggestions? I'm actually getting a new video card this week (GTX 670 w/ 4GB video RAM) so I'm hoping this will fix it. I'll also be doing a clean Windows install once I get it.
If this doesn't work, I'm going to lose it.
