Re: Game unplayable
Topics merged, thanks Omnixor for the hint.
achetck, if you search carefully in the forum you will find enough hints on how to set the configuration properly
One thing I'd recommend: delete the Default.System.Config.Gbx file and restart.
And a recent hint was to disable DX3D9x in the advanced configuration settings.
Stuttering can come from many different things.
With your CPU and Motherboard, do you have a ASUS tool called "EPU-6 Engine" or similar?
Is it installed? Then please set it to maximum performance before playing ManiaPlanet. This helped for me.

Re: TrackMania2 Canyon stuttering
possible solution could be to download standalone maniaplanet version from http://player.maniaplanet.com and try if it stutters. steam version is a bit f**cked up...
also, that file is in documents/maniaplanet/config.

Re: Game unplayable
It is not for overclock, it is there to automatically adjust the power to the system load.achetck wrote:I havent EPU-6 Engine its for OverClock, and i dont want/need do it.
Also there is a display of the current system load, and it can manage automatically.
Which settings are you using then ? Windows internal "balanced" power scheme?

Re: TrackMania2 Canyon stuttering
In the system tray there should be a symbol, in idle or low-power mode it shows a yellow man, which changes to car, plane and rocket with increasing performance settings.
It should also be there in the list of installed applications, the start menu should have it: Asus -> EPU-6 Engine
Or check in the Windows Control Panel -> Applications and Programs if it is installed.
Please check the Asus Website (support, downloads) for applications suitable for your PC,
perhaps they have a new name for this EPU-6 engine...

and also my computer its epic machine i dont need overclock nothing to play trackmania, so please first to recommend nothing read what i've posted at start, my computer is newest everything, and i repeat my processor is not for OC.
Thats not the solution but thanks anyway.
