The block part, should this not be able in theory? I mean with the addition of title packs and custom blocks, could we not, in theory, add all the blocks from all environments into a custom title and just go wild? :pTMarc wrote:My dream is to have a TrackMania version, call it TrackMania³ or TrackMania Complete (not to say United ), where all blocks of all environments/titles and also all landscape types are available on the same map, of size 128x128 or even 256x256.

Re: Valley: Screenshot/Video/Article Discussion
in theory it should be feasible, yes, but custom titles can't use blocks randomly actually.
And I know very well the limitation of large maps, that's why I wrote TM³, until then there will be more perfomant machines available, also for zarexz

Would it be possible for me to add blocks from TM2 Canyon and Stadium (+Valley at release), to the new Obstacle title that is being released soon?TMarc wrote:in theory it should be feasible, yes, but custom titles can't use blocks randomly actually.

I would love to see a "city" Obstacle map :p
And Zarexz, in max 10 years, most people will have computers with quantum CPUs. Which can prosses about 3000 the amount of information, that the computers of today can, I'm talking about processors with 3THz effect

They are currently working on it, and it is going to be, INSANE, yes insane..

When I originally heard about United, I thought that was what it would be. All blocks from all environments in one; and that the track author could pick which car would be driven on that track. How cool would that be?
Whatever happens, I'm just excited for more TrackMania. Can't get enough.

Re: Valley: Screenshot/Video/Article Discussion
Me too, and I like the idea of having something like multiple cars to choose from in the editor (before building as with moods) each with different physics thus allowing you to build very different styles of tracks. This was also suggested in the topic "What new Environment would you like to see?"
