So fuck those people. Seriously. Talking about a "great community", but don't want to spend the creators of the community 10 euros. I don't call you (the complainers) a part of the community. Because real community members would support their own community. But you guys are just selfish bastards.
Did i say i won't buy tm² ? No.
I bought tmuf, and i will buy Tm² Stadium, and I believe that i am part of this community more than many players, i know pretty much all of the TM² Fullspeed community, i speak to them, I take initiatives to revive this community (My team is organising a hugs FS tournament in october, even if it will probably have to be smaller because of what happenned)
If I was not part of this community, i would not be complaining today.
And i'm sure i can find lots of top players who did not buy TMUF, some got it maybe for free because of sponsors, but i'm 100% sure i could find 10 of them, without any problem.
Just about this, the number of TrackMania² Stadium players is stable in comparaison of the last days.
If there is less players on the servers, that's because a lot of them are playing the solo campaign. Once the campaign done, the number of players on the servers will increase
That's pretty bad then, during beta i was one of the first one to say that number of players will increase after game is out, however if it does not then you can not count more than 5000 active (Active meaning spending at least 2hours/week playing it, which is not much) players. That's a real issue for a game that's centered on the community, community that has considerably reduced at a point where i barely ever see new players in game.
Frostbeule, i could not agree more, i remember having a discussion with you about that a few weeks back, well i can say you definitely are right, eSport for Trackmania will slowly disappear, as competitive scene is divided. In the last year number of players in ESL has reduced much, and that will be much accelerated from now on with community weakened.
