This is not a bug.
It's not a bug, it's a feature!
You can place silos in mid-air since the very first beta of canyon. It allows you to place silos on the platform blocks, which adds some variety. There won't be any fixing from Nadeo

Same as the floating platform blocks without pillars. If you build them alone in mid-air, it will probably look bad
So use them wisely!
