[TMUF] Creating Custom Signs

I have watched a few tutorial's which show how to place your own .JPG's onto signs in your own tracks and the problem that I am having is that when I try to enter a URL to the JPG that I want to paint onto the sign it says that it is an unknown file type.

I hope someone can help me with this problem as it is very annoying and I know that it is probably something simple that I am missing somewhere.

I have tried using two different sites to store my pictures on and it gives the same error for both.

Do I actually need to find a site that will give me a link for the picture that actually has a .JPG extension at the end of it, If this is the case could you please let me know of such a site that will elt me do this.

which tutorial did you follow exactly? link?

and please also link your file... is it freely accessible?
Make sure you don't use https or storage that adds some download page before, as this prevents the direct download.

And the sites that i stored some pictures on are www.shutterfly.com and also I tried http://i.filebin.org/HWErp,, That is an actual link to the picture and not the view link which i also tried.

Could you please suggest a way that I can use this feature in my tracks.
