I think you're wrong here - community was patiently waiting for proper release without bugs (another reason why people are complaining now - release went unexpectedly).TMarc wrote:The community rushed Nadeo to make new Stadium

The community was and is certainly waiting patiently much more for the release of Valley

A release of Stadium was announced long enough ago, for end of April, then it was delayed to somewhen in May, well, now we have June, but here is it finally.
Nadeo makes a (admittedly late) suprise, and it is also not good?
For ShootMania they told a precise date (also after some delays), but compared to Stadium, it was a much more important launch for them, as it will also be for Valley.
And besides some yet unfixed other bugs, Nadeo has shown they still do late updates, if they judge it is necessary.
They wont do anything anymore if you only can complain

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
why do you consider stadium the least important title?

Without complaining Marc, we cannot advance.
You seems explaining why people should be happy, and not mad. The question, and I repeat it another time, isn't here.
Atm, we note a loads of people aren't satisfied about stadium release (which is, whatever you can say, more popular than canyon or Shootmania even if it lost around 300 players with the release >>> http://mania-actu.com/eng/staticpages/v ... Statistics). That's a fact, and we're trying to explain why, with all the difficulties it represents...

Simply because TM² Stadium is just a remake of something that was already existing.Omnixor wrote:why do you consider stadium the least important title?
Except the move to the ManiaPlanet engine, the couple of dozen of new blocs and the new campaign, nothing really new with it.
Personal note:
I'm not against Stadium, I also enjoy driving it on servers, but I clearly prefer Canyon or other titles that have some more natural landscapes, for my own constructions

Therefore I would have preferred Nadeo releases Valley, but time does not matter much to me, I'm much more patient

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
This is totally wrong. You can also advance with constructive criticism. This sounds much nicer and also give a better feeling to the developpers.manuvendee93 wrote:Without complaining Marc, we cannot advance.
Try to be in their situation.
Would you like to develop things for people who only do complain? I don't think so ...
You don't see the "loads of people" that are actually satisfied and who don't say anything, why should they, they have what they want.manuvendee93 wrote:Atm, we note a loads of people aren't satisfied about stadium release (which is, whatever you can say, more popular than canyon or Shootmania even if it lost around 300 players with the release >>> http://mania-actu.com/eng/staticpages/v ... This is a typical phenomena in Internet forums. It looks like there is a "majority" of unsatisfied, but this is a false impression, because mostly only complainers do write

And there is always a fluctuation of player count in online gaming.
Certainly many play only the betas because they are free, and after a while (perhaps even regardless of beta or not, free game or not) they're done with it and turn over to the next new free game. Those players cannot be considered as really participating constantly to ManiaPlanet.
And in global terms, 300 players is nothing. The games are still to be released on other countries,
but this is not our business, but Nadeos or Ubisofts

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
By complaining, you perfectly understood that's the same as criticism, or constructive criticism... So it's not time to play with words. Let's focus on problems.
And, certainly 300, alone isn't that much. But compared to the 850 each night, yes it is! Almost 30% of gamers aren't on stadium, without counting all players disappointed (but they already bought the game), & all players who don't want to switch from tmnf to stadium (more than the 850 surely). Considering us as a minority is a SERIOUS mistake Marc. It seems you should visit more stadium groups than canyon groups.
And btw, we write because we have things to say, and we're not here to make in lack of consideration the ones who are taking time to explain as well as possible the problems they and other think there are.

Perhaps you understand it positively, but there are many others who don't, and who write in capitals and in a commanding tone that they want this and this...manuvendee93 wrote:By complaining, you perfectly understood that's the same as criticism, or constructive criticism... Please don't twist my writing to what you like. Where did I consider Stadium as "minority"?manuvendee93 wrote:us as a minority is a SERIOUS mistake Marc. It seems you should visit more stadium groups than canyon groups.
And don't tell me which forums I have to read and which not, will you!?

To me, the count of players is simply not relevant. It might care to Nadeo, but I'm not of their team.
In fact I absolutely don't care how many play Canyon or Stadium or ShootMania, I try to help players with their issues regardless of the player count or their rank or nationality or whatever.

You didn't understand me on this point. I wasn't talking about all players on stadium, but about the ones who aren't satisfied about stadium, completely or partiallyPlease don't twist my writing to what you like.
