And there's no need for it as well.

Well, what about the big "Join Beta" Button on the Valley webpage. Would be bad if no beta, to test if you like it.

Maybe there was a beta, but it was just kept from us all this time. Similar to Shootmania's Alpha, when 60 people were already playing the game before the announcement trailer.

Ofcourse there was some internal testing in the Nadeo Team ( ) and maybe an additional alpha to very few people.
However I don't understand why you should make a Join the beta button, if there is no public beta.
But actually I don't care, I can play on 4th July anyway, Beta or not
