Launch trailer always appears at launch-day :D

The SM-launchrailer came out with SM release and the TM2S-launchtrailer came out with TM2S release.
So expect to see a valley launch trailer at the july 4th ;)

I agree with you if there is no demo available on launch day. Then it's a fail.

Why would it be a fail if there's no demo ? Not every games give you the opportunity to test the game before you decide to buy it or not ! Consider yourself lucky if until now you could play the betas of Canyon and Stadium because, in my case, I couldn't test Canyon in its beta !
Do you ask for a demo as well when you buy a boxed game for your PS3 or Xbox ? Just saying, but god ! Nadeo is about to release a game most of us thought it would never come in ONE week and all you find is to complain about some bêtas and demos !

Sure, I understand the idea for pricing every non-Stadium environment at €20 so that everyone can choose their own mix, but it seems a lot after United for people who love TrackMania and will buy every environment. Something like -10% off for every ManiaPlanet title owned would be neat. I know Steam supports deals depending on the games you have. Or any kind of other loyal buyer discount you might invent.

I don't complain. I will buy Valley anyway at the first day available.

However a demo is always good to attract new people because it's free, so more people are likely to try it out. -> more will buy it.

And I don't own a console, I am sorry ;)

The fact nadeo added an official "subscribe to beta" link on the maniaplanet homepage kinda contradicts the way the game is launched
That's a big fail in more than 1 way (both promotionwise, game's being tested and more ppl hear from it through word of mouth, and then there's the bugs that will be in the game at v1.0)

So i agree with Rots here to the fullest amount
edit: not the fullest amount. The price is right and still cheaper than most other games.
(as stadium already existed and only had to be ported they generously sell it for half price)

actually i do download a demo prior to buying a game (or download a preview install from psn) Kinda like how i always buy games. Try b4 i buy. (just like in the old days where you got a Tape/Floppy/CD/DVD with a magazine)
