I am thinking about buying one of the TM2 titles, sadly I only got the cash for one of them right now. What's your opinion about Canyon vs Stadium, especially when playing online? Do you think Valley will be worth it?
Additionally I got some more questions:
- Is MSAA still possible with fast shaders?
- I got a GTX 260 and play Shootmania with fast shaders and 4*MSAA at 1080p. Can I expect similar performance at
Trackmania? Any differences between the three games in this regard?

Re: TM2 Canyon vs Stadium vs Valley
Lot of people are like "Stadium forever!" but I like Canyon much more - so much more possibilities, cool(crazy) stuff and variety possible in building maps, and the looks
. Can't wait to try out Valley so cant say for that now
Sadly online is mostly only for those who like to play more or less short/plainroad/tech maps in time attack mode

Thanks for the reply, but what are Tech-Maps? Is their a difference in online activity between the two?
Re: TM2 Canyon vs Stadium vs Valley
I think you should wait today's valley release. Just to be part of the big party...There will be lots of people, you'll discover it with us and...This will be fun.
So wait a whyle and buy/discover valley with us. Later you will be able to buy canyon + stadium wich are of course awesome games!

I did! Thank you guys

Re: TM2 Canyon vs Stadium vs Valley
They are all quite different from each other and all fun once you get use to them. Valley is on sale 'til Monday. Seems like a good excuse to give it a go!

hahaha this is not true

canyon is restricted ...
no real "working" fs ...
rpg isnt that funny because of the restricted blocks...
and ofc you dont have any blockmixing tool in canyon/valley
so i think you should start with valley (infarctus is right) or stadium because it is the BEST EVER (ok this is my opinion

Re: TM2 Canyon vs Stadium vs Valley
Stadium seems to be the better choice at the moment, especially for blocksets, plus it's half the price of any of the others, so you will soon be able to get Valley with what you saved and have a great time with Stadium while you are waiting

Re: TM2 Canyon vs Stadium vs Valley
For sure Stadium it's the best option
I do not like Valley , for the price i pay for it
I expected some better drive engine
And better maps , seems a very cheap copy of Canyon but without the drift
My opinion about valley before i dit buy it , he he a rally game >>> 80 % of the maps is tarmac drive and this is wrong
