I have a gtx 680, i5 3570k and 8gb of ram and i run all maniaplanet games at 60 fps except the forest section in valley it caps at 30 fps.

does anybody know a way to optimize settings to increse fps in the forest?

I have a GTX 660 ti. I can run in forest with 60 fps if I use all settings on max except for Shadows which is set to minimum.

Another idea, since you have a nvidia card could be to use adaptive vsync. Possibly tripple buffering+vsync if you are very close to 60 fps. I think my system runs slightly above 40 fps at the absolutely hardest parts of A06 with everything maxed out.

I hope Nadeo could do some forest optimization, since there is a big framdrop on only very rare places. It would be nice to be able to max out all tracks with always 60 fps with vsync.

Using a GTX 660ti as well, maximum quality, no issues.
No motionblur, though.

What fps do you get for A06?

60 constantly, but I have vsync turned on.

I wonder what can be the difference. Maybe some settings, OS, memory? I have 32-bit win xp, but OP have problems even with 8 GB. I tried to install the latest nvidia driver but I didn't get 60 fps, even if it maybe gave a small improvement.

Something that can make a difference is the screen resolution. I have 1920x1080.

I'm using 64 bits Windows 7 with 8 GB of memory.
I'm also using a 1920x1080 screen (+ a 2nd screen).

I haven't really updated my graphics drivers since a while (version 314.22 now), which does not contain the Maniaplanet SLI profile.
You could try downgrading to that driver version, but I doubt it helps.
