Trackmania 2 Valley blocks overview

Post by Whitestar »

I put together an overview of the Valley blocks.

Normal sized.

Reduced and sharpened to fit 1080p monitors.

In Image Shack click the zoom icon first. Then you can click on the full size image and save it to your disk.

I going to make use of that and the Block Codes now and ask about Block 6-3-7

I've seen this arch in maps but haven't had any luck creating one myself. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? What steps are needed to produce an arch?

I just did this. I created two mountains next to each other (room for one mountain in between) by the use of TF4 (terraforming 4). Then I selected 6-3-7 and placed it between the mountains.

Clicking seemed to produce random results, but after a few tries I got the arch.

Not sure if there is a way to decide what comes up, or if it's random each time. It seems random. Just click a few times and maybe try to place the mouse in a different position. You should get the arch eventually. :)

you need to place the mountain 4 type block exactly as shown in the miniature image:

Then fill the intersection with block 6-3-7:

No you can click 1 to 3 times to alter its apparence, as there are three variantions built-in:

Voilà :3

Very cool. Thanks guys!
I was terraforming side by side instead of at an angle.
Thanks for the images TMarc.
I think people will find tips like these helpful.

Some platform blocks are very similar - or equal? ;)

What's the difference between the blocks
4-1-1 Image and 4-1-3 Image

I built them on the ground, in the air, zoomed in and out, drove on the top and between the two layers... but didn't find a difference (I'm sure, there is one ;) ). Perhaps it's only visible with higher graphic settings :?:
