Error HTTP 12 150

I'm having a problem updating maniaplanet at work, since everytime it starts downloading, and after reaching a precise percentage (always the same), it crashes. The message I have is : Error HTTP 12 150, and I didn't find anything about it anywhere.

I guess that's a firewall port forwarding issue, so I would like to know what I could do about it : change some ports in the game options with other ones used by another application and which would work then. Or I would need to know which port to forward so I can ask the IT guys to open it/them.

We are several people there who want to play it (I converted them to Shootmania ) and so that would be cool to find a solution because since the last update you can just skip and play...

can you see a part of the file on your disk (folder c:\ProgramData\ManiaPlanet\PacksCache) ?
Then I doubt it is port forwarding, rather the antivirus suite or something else.

Anyways the necessary ports are 2350 and 3450.

hm. I have Build 2013-07-12_20_29 (you can see this once ManiaPlanet is started, on the upper right corner of the titles screen).

There are quite a few differences.

I think the best is you reinstall it with the downloads available on the player page.

Are they updated with the new content ?

Because that's what I did for this install, since installing the maniaplanet launcher had the same issue while downloading the full games... So I downloaded the titles packs from the FTP and not thru maniaplanet, and then installed them manually. I'll uninstall everything and reinstall but I don't have much hope in that

well, since Valley release there have been 2~3 updates.
But this is where you have had the issues.
On the player page there is an option to get also optional updates, is this enabled for you?

Uninstalled / reinstalled : same problem.

I think that TMarc said that you have started having issues since Valley updates. So he recommends you to reinstall maniaplanet from your the download link of your player page
Did you reinstall it from your player page?
