Solo: No official time with Silver and Bronze!?

Not everyone can reach Gold or Silver on all tracks.
But apparently it is not even possible to drive official records if you don't have Gold medal in the training.

In my opinion it should be allowed already to drive official time with a Bronze medal as entry point for official records.

Reason: If you have Gold medal in local solo play, you are allowed to drive offical time, and there you get Planets and skillpoints if you only reach Bronze or Silver in offical mode.

i think official mode need to be removed, if i play my time should count to ranking, no need for separate practice mode and waiting 5 minutes for each attempt.

things like this just make game harder to enjoy for new people. and trackmania sadly is full of those.

Official mode is good, you need to practise a bit, this makes gameplay on solo longer, and it prevents lucky medals just by chance.
The 5 minutes limit is sometimes a bit long, especially on short maps, but this already has been discussed in another thread, and is not to be started again here!

if you think official mode is good because it makes single player longer then requiring gold before you play official is one of ways how it do its job.

Yes and no. It makes play longer, but something is wrong indeed, one needs Gold before being allowed to run official, which is not ok, as Bronze should already allow to run official.
