The block 2-5-7 should either have a backside with signs (but how to skin the sides independently?),
or better: it should be extended by 2-5-8, where the signs are on the back side instead of at the front:

I'd like to add that when the block is in the air, the add sign is placed diferently that when the block is placed on the floor. Is there any logical explanation to that?

ascii explanation ( = road , | add)

floor:
===|=== (centered add)

air:
=====|= (add delayed?)

Do you mean this?

I guess it was the freedom of the modeller, not to have always exactly the same block.

Besides this quite a few blocks are different, depending if they are located on the on ground or in combination with other blocks.
