Valley map: Bug or I made something wrong???

Post by sayotoshi »

Hi,

I made a map with custom camera. Everything is working fine except one small detail. When I was validating a map and was driving from custom camera lights of car was on. But after map is validated lights while driving from custom camera are off. This is night map so those lights are quite useful. There is also possible to drive wit normal camera and when you do this lights are on. So, what to do to make this light on after map is validated? Or this is just bug and Nadeo should fix this problem?

I think I didn't use it. It first time for me when I made a map with custom cam so I don't know much about how to make it good. But as I wrote, before map was validated lights was on. After validation lights are off (before validation shadows was calculated). Please can you look at map in editor and see if you can solve this problem?

Did you fix it already?
Because the light never was off when I just tried. :?
Btw. this custom camera at the begin is rather confusing, I would remove it completely ;)

The lights of your car has never been on i guess, it's just that before computing shadow, the map is much more bright, so you can see.
Try to change your settings in maniaplanet launcher from very fast to fast.

And about changing settings in luncher. I can have small problem with that because I don't play now on very fast settings but on highest.

@ TMarc

Sorry for late replay. I don't understand why it's working. Now when I play online this map everything is ok but when I play offline lights are off. Not important it's working for online so it's ok.

I just made it for fun, something like view in Colin ;) but I make possible for players to drive from normal view also.

Thx for help anyway.
