Got to agree with you there Smigles. Ladder points mean nothing to me. The fun that I have racing with people who respect each other wins hands down every time

Newcomers need a certain period of time before to get used to the TM world and to know what is worthy, and what isn't. At first, it's quite expected that they are attracted by the ladder, because that's among the most obvious things you can play for (although there are plenty bad behaviours there).
