[SM][TM2] Crash to desktop after updates[fixed]

Since the latest updates all Maniaplanet games (Storm, Canyon, Stadium, Valley) crash to desktop when trying to load any map. I'm playing the games through Steam and the Maniaplanet interface loads up fine but when I choose a map or join a server in any of the games it always crashes to desktop during loading.

I had exactly the same problem when Valley had just been released but it only affected the Valley title. Now none of the Maniaplanet games are working. The problem with Valley was related to the shaders and LuckyBoy fixed it. I have an old video card that only supports Shader Model 2, and the crashlogs all have errors related to shaders so I think this may be the problem again, only this time it's affecting all the games.

Before the new updates all the games ran really well and I haven't changed any game settings since the games last worked so I'm sure it's the updates that have broken them for me.

ATI Radeon X800XT 256mb Video card
2gb RAM
Windows XP Home SP3
