It could be just an alpha version of the hud, as it's an alpha version of the game.
So maybe it will evolve before the game comes out.

Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
I'm in favor of a semi-customizable HUD...just maybe adjust size/position of some things...I know in some servers I play online there are things ringed all the way around the screen...it'd be nice to be able to close the windows I don't look at and resize the ones I do.

But on servers you don't only have tue default hud by nadeo, but the hud of the servertools as well (dedimania, localrecs,...)
Most times you can disable this hud. But if the coder forgot such an option it could be annoying.
Hopefully you can disable the whole hud with *. But then you don't even know what times you are driving :S

Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
There should be a couple levels of HUD disable...you should be able to turn off items selectively or in groups...then you can turn off only what you don't use.

It's so hard to try googling this common abbreviation...
Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
It IS??
Lol, (nearly) EVERYONE knows what a HUD is, so why should it be that difficult to find a website?^^
Gonna try it out right now
EDIT: Lol, took me 10 seconds

It would be great, if it would be possible to disable everything with *, but then be able to still see your times you are driving. So maybe * to disable everything and then set up your private offline HUD.This way you can skip bad interfaces by server controllers, but still be able to compare your times (which is a thing that is bad done in some server controllers nowadays, where you simply can't remove a window, which is totally disturbing your viewhaenry wrote:But on servers you don't only have tue default hud by nadeo, but the hud of the servertools as well (dedimania, localrecs,...)
