I agree that Collided and Fortress are better than the originals.

I'll be working on some updates for those maps. (For example, the updated version of CastleCrasher with the slides was really a poor decision.)

But the goal isn't really to make Nadeo maps official ones. Just to build good maps and offer a varied experience for the players. And, for the record : building an Elite beginner map is harder than building a competitive one. =)

Well, im not saying you HAVE to make official maps.
But some of ur work is verrrrry good.

+ if u dont want to make adjustements , can we edit the maps? or is it protected?
I really think your maps are better than some of the maps i have to test for the new mappool ( october ) :/

It requires ManiaLive 3.1.

This version doesn't work for me in Combo. No error but the progress bar for the time doesn't move and we will wait infinitely.
Combo do not use the wave system, try adding this to ManiaLive config:

Code: Select all

ManiaLivePlugins\MatchMakingLobby\Config.matchMakerDelay = 16
If should behave like before

There are no passwords on the Nadeo maps.
I'll provide them (on MX or elsewhere) if necessary, since you cannot edit a packed map.

Good news! I will let mania-actu know and add them to the 'maps to test for octobre' pool :D

Same with the variable, and same if I modify directly in the ManiaLivePlugins\MatchMakingLobby\Config.php file. I don't see some errors or weird things when I active debug mode.

The beginners maps SUCK. Either go with the ESL mappack or with the old ones like Collided, Archways, CastleCrasher, WatchYourBack etc, but not those public s*its.

I started Ubisoft server with this configuration and it's working fine.

Do you have any errors?

Strange thing : could you try using latest manialive svn and matchmaking plugin on github?
