Map Editor: want to make multiple floors

Post by kevv06 »

Hey I figured out a lot of things from the Map Editor, but its one thing in specific I cant Discover, I want to make a Multi Floor Castle, I want the first floor to be an open Space, but i cant find a Platform that will float in the air to act as ceiling and able to stack another platform or wall above it. I've tried the wooden slabs, they can't be stacked with another wall or platform, and other platforms but i just make a large pillar in where it placed. any trick or hints?

You can give this kind of approach a try....

But I think you will find it hard to build what you want to.

Nice pics. Ty.

And yes, with the newest blocks it is possible to build some small rooms and stuff, but they are no help when you want to build some bigger ceilings. The only blocks that can float without any pillars are wooden blocks and those purple stamina blocks wich both aren't very useful most of the time.
There is (still) no simple stone block that floats.

If you just want one floor a big open space you could make it underground but above ground in a mountain.
You can build castle walls all around it so it doesn't look like a mountain but part of the castle.
It's one idea.

Why not maniapark make a title which organise the best custom blocks so that many players can access them?

I know, easy for me to ask ;)

Well, it's a solution - but I personally find the undergrounds pretty useless, at least in modes like Elite.. If you could build some more stuff underground... like a "highground" in underground ... they might be to some use
